🏇🏽 Paul Revere House Visits 5th Grade! On Thursday, April 4, 5th Grade classrooms enjoyed a presentation and activity led by a member of the The Paul Revere House in Boston. Students heard details about Paul Revere's life leading up to the Revolutionary War and then broke into small groups to learn more details about his life referencing reproductions of letters and other historical materials that provided insight into how he lived. The students were also assigned objects that were symbolic of Paul Revere's life including, a silver cup, tooth brush, leather satchel, copper stake and infant hat. 📖 Author Marty Kelley Visits First Grade
Author Marty Kelley visited the first graders on Tuesday, April 9. This engaging author shared what his process for writing and illustrating looks like. He emphasized the importance of play, creativity, and curiosity. His lively presentation then concluded with a fun demonstration of how he makes his art using an iPad.
